Noshe Oceanic bags creative and media business of HotSpots

In continuation of its recent account winning spree, Noshe Oceanic has bagged the creative and media duties of HotSpots, which a sister concern of Mcorp Global run by the BK Modi Group.

HotSpots is a telecom retail chain providing all mobile needs under one roof. At present there are around 22 stores in Delhi and the NCR. Plans are afoot to open around 1,000 stores across India by 2007, with Mumbai and Bangalore among the key places where the company wants to foray into.

The pitch process, which took place a couple of months back, saw presentations by six agencies. The names of the agencies as well as the size of the business could not be ascertained, despite repeated attempts.

Noshe Oceanic will be looking at the entire communication strategy of the client, which encompasses a 360-degree approach, including print, television and outdoor, besides below the line activities.

Reacting to the win, Asheesh Sethi, President, Noshe Oceanic, said, “We got the account based on our retail expertise. It’s a different and new kind of business.”

Nilesh Ambastha, Marketing Manager, HotSpots, said, “The best part of Noshe Oceanic is their retail experience. We feel that their retail understanding would add value to our venture.”
