No show @One Show 2012

This may come as a surprise or a shock to many. India has had a no show at One Show Awards 2012. Despite there being nine finalists, none of the entries from India could bag any Pencil.

Amongst the nine entries that made it to the final list, DDB Mudra had four, Leo Burnett had two and Ogilvy & Mather, Wieden+Kennedy, BBH India had one each.

The finalists were across 12 categories that form a part of One Show Awards which include print,
OOH, collateral and self promotion, public service/political, radio, television, cinema, advertising and non-broadcast, branded content, innovation in advertising, experiential advertising, and integrated branding and brand transformation.

India has won five Pencils including 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze at One Show Design awards 2012 declared earlier.

For the record, India won two Silver Pencils at One Show Awards 2011 courtesy McCann Erickson and Contract Advertising.
