Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (The Original since 1864), more commonly referred to as ‘TBZ’, has moved its advertising business to Dentsu Marcom Mumbai. The account, worth Rs 4 crore, was earlier with Everest Advertising.
The new festive season campaign for TBZ, for their gold and diamond jewellery, has just broken in the media.
Dentsu Marcom Chairman Sandeep Goyal has confirmed the account move. Kim Solomon, General Manager, Dentsu Marcom, said, “We are happy to be working with a legendary brand name like TBZ. Their jewellery is a trendsetter across categories and the trust the TBZ name enjoys makes the brand a cut above the rest. We are looking forward to creating memorable work on the brand.”
TBZ has outlets at Zaveri Bazar, Borivali and Ghatkopar in Mumbai. It also retails from Hyderabad and Kochi.
Jewellery advertising has become increasingly competitive over the years, but “trust” remains the biggest driver for high-ticket purchases in gold and diamond jewellery, which is where the heritage of 140 years works for TBZ.
Dentsu Marcom’s Mumbai office already handles accounts like HDFC SL Insurance, Park Avenues, Suzlon Energy and Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinic.
