JWT and Rediffusion DY&R Delhi have kept India’s spirits high at the New York Festivals 2006. The two agencies join Mudra and Leo Burnett in bagging nominations for the prestigious awards. JWT Mumbai and Rediffusion DY&R Delhi have bagged nine nominations between them.
The Levi’s Slim Jeans campaign continues to win laurels for JWT Mumbai, The agency has bagged six nominations for this campaign at the New York Festivals 2006. The ‘Slim vs Slim’ TVC is a finalist in the TV Apparel and Film Craft Animation categories, while its ‘Slim Figures’ series has got four nominations – three in Print Apparel and one in the Print Campaign Apparel categories.
Rediffusion DY&R Delhi has three nominations – two in outdoor and one in film. The film, ‘Banana Mountain’ (King Kong) for PVR Cinemas has been shortlisted in the Outdoor: Entertainment Promotion category, while its work, ‘Mute’, for iPod has been shortlisted in the Outdoor: Portable Electronics category. A film for Sugar Free, titled ‘Auto Rickshaw’, bagged a nomination in the Film: Medical Products category for the agency.
“Three nominations calls for three cheers,” said Rediffusion DY&R’s National Creative Head, S K Chakravarthy, reacting to the nominations.
New York Festivals 2006: Mudra, Leo Burnett bag several nominations
