Sanjeev Hajela, who till recently had held the post of VP at PrimeSite, has been promoted as its President. Hajela, who joined Primesite, Mudra’s OOH unit, as Chief Manager in 2001, took up the responsibility for national sales and servicing in 2005. He takes over from Indrajit Sen, who quit the job in February 2006 after a six-year stint to join Jagran Engage, the OOH unit of Jagran Prakashan. PrimeSite didn’t have a President in the interim period.
Commenting on the development, Madhukar Kamath, MD and CEO, Mudra, said, “Sanjeev’s mandate as the President of Primesite will be to drive growth and ramp up our brand building work.” R Lakshminarayanan, CEO, Mudra Marketing Services, said, “We have ambitious plans for Primesite. Hajela has over 18 years’ marketing experience. He began his career with ITC (Tobacco Division) in 1988. He then joined Brown Forman Beverages Worldwide, a US Fortune 500 company marketing bourbon whiskeys and wines as Brand Manager till 1998. Post this, he moved on to join LG Plastika on the new generation advertising materials assignment as Marketing Manager and worked with them till mid-2001.
