Percept D’ Mark has bagged the ground rights for the Triangular Cricket Series to be played between India, West Indies and Australia in Singapore in the second week of September. The rights were awarded in Delhi on Friday. Percept D’ Mark was the lone bidder for the ground rights.
Commenting on the win, Percept D’ Mark Branch Head-North India, Sanjay Kacker, said, “We are very happy to participate and win the bid for the second time. The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 25-30 crore. The win will benefit our company both in terms of image and revenue. Though it will take BCCI three days to formally hand over the ground rights to us after consulting their marketing team, as part of our business strategy we have already managed to rope in several sponsors for the ground rights.”
Kacker further said, “We will undertake promotions for the Tri-Series soon. Percept D’ Mark is organising the whole event and will be handling the entire ground promotion for the Series. BCCI had called for an open tender in the beginning of August 2006 and all sports management companies were invited to bid for the rights, but no one turned up besides us.”
