NEW Monster appoints Dhruv Shenoy as Country Manager for Middle East

Monster, the global online careers and recruitment resource of Monster Worldwide Inc., has appointed Dhruv Shenoy as Country Manager for its Middle East business. He will be responsible for all of Monster’s Middle East business activities including sales, marketing and customer service. This is in addition to his existing function as VP-Marketing for Monster India.

The Middle East operation will cover eight countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Lebanon. Shenoy will continue to be based in Hyderabad.

Observed Arun Tadanki, President and Managing Director, Monster India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Middle East, “To tap the potential of the Middle East, we have decided to expand and invest in the region. It is important that we provide this region a special focus from a management perspective. Over the last six years, Shenoy has made a large contribution to the growth of our business in this region. He has a solid understanding of all the operations of our business and I have no doubt that he will make Middle East a bigger success.”

Commented on his additional role, Shenoy said, “Monster India has been home for six years and I have seen it grow from scratch. In this eventful journey, new opportunities have provided us the defining moments for our growth. The Middle East region is one such opportunity and I am absolutely delighted to be assigned this responsibility.”

Shenoy informed that the Middle East site, monstergulf.com, was launched on August 5, 2006. “There is a lot of demand and recruitment in the Middle East. They look for talent from everywhere in the world. Globally, we have an advantage as Monster helps hire skills from India, UK, US, etc.,” he said.
