NEW Madison and Mudra – Nutrine’s new advertising partners

Mudra Mumbai has been awarded the businesses of all the brands of Nutrine by Godrej Beverages and Foods (GBFL). The consolidated businesses include key brands like Nutrine Eclairs, Nutrine Superstar and Maha Lacto. As is known, post the Godrej acquisition, Nutrine’s media business had fallen in the lap of Madison Media. The estimated spend of the business is upwards of Rs 10 crore.

In April 2005, Nutrine had awarded the creative and media business to Rediffusion DY&R, assigning them Maha Lacto, while G3 was responsible for Eclairs.

Zozden Lobo, Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Finance, Godrej Beverages and Foods Ltd, said, “We have awarded the business to Mudra because of their understanding of the category and strong strategic inputs.”

Jude Fernandes, President and Head, Mudra Mumbai, said, “I am delighted because this is a huge win. Nutrine is the largest confectionary brand in India and it’s also a very exciting category for our creative team to work on.”

Mudra Mumbai also manages the strategic and creative duties for the Godrej Group (Consumer Products, Agrovet), Air-India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Big Bazaar, Philips, Zenith Computers, State Bank of India, Hindustan Petroleum, Maharashtra Tourism, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Reliance ADAG, Electrolux and Olympus, among others.
