NEW Interface Communications bags RAK Ceramics advertising business, Lodestar to handle media

RAK Ceramics, a global leader in high quality floor and wall tiles, gres porcellanato and sanitaryware, has appointed Interface Communications to manage its advertising business and Lodestar for its media business. Interface has also been trusted with the responsibility of promoting the brand in India. The account size is pegged in the region of Rs 6-7 crore.

RAK Ceramics has in just 15 years established a global presence and leadership position with a turnover in excess of $ 400 million. RAK Ceramics markets its products in over 130 countries and is now poised for a major expansion in India.

Confirming the appointment of Interface, Dr. Khater Massaad, Managing Director, RAK Ceramics India, said, “Interface has demonstrated a great appreciation of our business and we sensed a commitment to building our brand in India with strong strategy focused creative solutions. They also have a strong media capability through Lodestar Media.”

Sunil Malesha, General Manager of India operations, added, “Interface understands that we have a premium product which has built a reputation through excellence and by harnessing high technology to give consumers innovative designs and products. We are planning an aggressive growth strategy and Interface understands how to balance the demands of building volumes without sacrificing on image. We were particularly impressed with how they have handled Scorpio.”

Interface Communications has notched up billings in excess of Rs 120 crore and the agency is definitely looking upwards. “We are delighted to work with RAK Ceramics and it only confirms the value added solutions that we have provided to other brands in the building materials space,” commented Niteen Bhagwat, Executive Director, Interface.
