Neerja Wable headed for Millward Brown, Singapore

Neerja Wable, Senior Vice President and Executive Director and the head of IMRB Delhi is set to fly off to Singapore on a new assignment. She will join the group company of IMRB, Millward Brown, as Marketing and Business Development Director for Asia Pacific in April. When asked about the new assignment, Wable said, “I am very excited about the challenge, the new opportunity and the learnings I will get there.”

Thomas Puliyel, President, IMRB, added, “Neerja is an able manager and an accomplished researcher. This move is a clear recognition of the quality and depth of IMRB’s senior management. We welcome this move.”

On her new responsibilities, Wable said, “My role would be to build new business and strengthen our existing client relationships.” She added, “It is a very large and heterogeneous region. On one hand, we understand the sensitivities of each of our client in this region, we understand the clients needs better, on the other hand we have to ensure the global best practices across the region.”

Wable has spent more than two decades with IMRB. She joined IMRB in 1979 and in 1999 became the head of IMRB in Delhi. While playing an instrumental role in driving the business growth of IMRB, she was also responsible for managing and growing the Millward Brown business in India.

Her place in IMRB Delhi is being taken by Bhupendra Mathur. He is now the new Senior Vice President and Executive Director of IMRB Delhi.
