Muthoot Group signs Grey as creative partner

After a multi-agency pitch that saw participation from 22 agencies, Grey has won the creative duties for Muthoot Group.

The pitch that went on for more than six months had Grey and one more agency in the final presentation, before Grey Delhi walked away with the coveted account. The agency will be handling ATL, BTL, digital and every other communication activity for Muthoot Group.

The news has been confirmed to exchange4media by Avinav Chaubey, AGM-Marketing Services, Muthoot Group. A detailed release will be out shortly.

Muthoot Group spent Rs 120 crore on its marketing activities last year. The account size can be estimated to be in the same bracket. Media duties as of now lie with Carat. It could not be ascertained if the media duties will continue to stay with the agency.

Started in 1887, Muthoot Group has emerged as one of India's largest financial groups of its kind with business interests in 16 diverse fields, a network of over 3600 branches nationwide, serving 5.5 million customers across the country. Muthoot Group with its pan-India presence and varied bouquet of products serves over 76000 customers every day.
 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
