Mum the banker's at the core of BankBazaar.com Mother's Day campaign

One of India’s leading financial websites, BankBazaar.com, released a digital advertising campaign on Mother’s Day. It is being touted as an ode to mothers who taught the first lessons on financial management to their children who picked up on these habits inadvertently.

The press release by the company says that the campaign stems from the insight that a mother imparts important finance lessons like negotiating for the best deals, quality checks, getting the best value for money and being frugal. The thought behind the campaign is to appeal to India’s online generation in the age group of 25 and 35 and they are capturing it in the form of a mother saving every penny.

Prince Thomas, Head, Brand Marketing at BankBazaar.com,says, “We have always believed in building an emotional connect with our consumers over topics that are relevant and can generate conversations around finance. This is reflected in all our campaigns, be it #ThankYouDad or #PlayYourPart. All parents want to give their children the best. Mothers definitely are the financial managers who stretch resources to make ends meet. These management skills and values are at the core of what drives BankBazaar to make the access to right financial products easy for customers. We appreciate these skills within and outside our organization. We want to make sure we recognize and appreciate the contribution mothers make. We came up with a video that uses humour and nostalgia to connect the skills needed to make right decisions with the lessons our mothers imparted.”
