Kidstuff Promos and Events, Mudra’s promotional marketing unit, has been re-branded. The group has renamed it to give it a new corporate identity. The unit will now be called Kidstuff Promotional Marketing. The agency has also refreshed its corporate identity and sharpened its focus area.
Madhukar Kamath, MD & CEO, Mudra, said, “This is the beginning of a new phase for Kidstuff. I am truly proud of the talent and skill sets that we have in the team.”
R Lakshminarayanan, CEO, Mudra Marketing Services, said, “Over the last three years, the clients’ expectations from promotions have changed from short term blips in sales to long term brand strategic requirements. As is happening worldwide, clients are spending a lot of money on below-the-line services. Spends on promos could be even larger than thematic advertising,” he said.
In an attempt to reflect this trend, Kidstuff is designing brand promos that are derived from the overall brand strategic requirements. It is also investing in people and their skill sets to improve the quality of ideation and creativity.
Jai De Costa, President, Kidstuff Promotional Marketing, explained the idea behind the new logo. He said, “The logo is based on the spotlight that one sees during stage and cine performances. From a design perspective, there are three colours used with their strong significances. There is yellow for vibrancy, green for freshness, and red to suggest passion. The new logo is unique and distinct, and will certainly set us apart from the rest of the crowd,” he said.
De Costa added, “For our business, vibrancy in execution, freshness in ideation and passion for the domain are all critical.”
