Mudra group creates sparks with Ignite Mudra; Chandan Nath to head new agency
Mudra group on July 7, 2009 launched a new agency, christened Ignite Mudra, which will focus on the needs of entrepreneurs. Chandan Nath is the President & Head of this new agency, which is based in Ahmedabad.
With the launch of Ignite Mudra, Mudra Ahmedabad ceases to exist. Thus, most of the businesses handled by Mudra Ahmedabad have now been taken over by Ignite Mudra. Some of these clients include Zydus Cadila, Paras Pharmaceuticals, Electrotherm India, Nirlite (Nirma Group), Adani Group, Sintex, and Nilon’s Pickles, among others.
Speaking at the launch, Pratap Bose, COO, Mudra Group, and CEO, Mudra Max, said, “We aim to celebrate entrepreneurship. The reason for choosing Ahmedabad as the city for the announcement is because of the long relationship that Mudra has had with the city and the clients here. Mudra has been in this city for 29 years now and has come a long way.”
Nath, who will lead the agency, explained, “There is a dearth of services offering entrepreneurs systematic guidance to build truly sustainable brand. At Ignite Mudra, we want to utilise our intuitive understanding of the needs of entrepreneurs and our rich experience in growing successful brands to create a broader brand-building platform. Ignite Mudra will provide more than advertising solutions, it will provide a consortium that will help entrepreneurs transform their ideas into strong, marketable brands.”
There will no difference in the structure of the new agency. Chief Creative Officer Bobby Pawar will head the creative team for Ignite Mudra as well. The new agency boasts of partnerships with corporate advisory experts, fund providers, private treaty houses, distribution and logistics services, organisation building experts and public relations firm, apart from the entire suite of specialist communication communications units of the Mudra group itself, to help entrepreneurs build sustainable brand ventures out of innovative and unique ideas.
The Mudra group operates across Mudra (mainline agency), DDB Mudra, Mudra Max, and Water. In May 2009, the group had brought its 12 specialised units under the Mudra Max umbrella, heralding a new age for Mudra Max as an integrated communications planning and implementation agency.
