Mudra, Delhi wins Rs 10-crore MMTC creative and media account

Mudra, Delhi has bagged the Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation (MMTC) creative and media pitch. MMTC, established in 1963, is one of the two highest foreign exchange earners for India and is counted among the leading international trading companies in its genre. It has a turnover of over $3 billion.

Commenting on the win, Mudra, President, North and East, Hemant Mishra, said, “The size of the business is around Rs 10 crore. We are doing the entire makeover of the campaign. We are helping them building a new corporate image.”

He added, “The common man doesn’t seem to connect with MMTC. We are doing a campaign so that we can spread the message to the common man. The agency is doing a complete branding solution for MMTC. It is not restricted to mass media alone, we are also targeting the national and international public.”

Mishra further said that a TVC campaign would break sometime next year.

The agencies that were involved in the creative and media pitch included Mudra, Relioquick and Grey.

MMTC has a vast international trade network, which includes a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore. Its operations span across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, giving the Corporation a global market coverage.

MMTC has been the recipient of the export award from the Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) as the largest exporter of minerals from India for the 13 years in a row.
