Mudra Brand Therapist, the healthcare and lifestyle specialist of the DDB Network in India, will be handling the advertising and communication of Bristol Myers Squibb’s drug for breast cancer Taxol. The brand was earlier entrusted to Lowe, and then it moved for a short duration to Oxygen Advertising.
Mudra Brand Therapist President, Soumitra Sen, said, “We are delighted to win this account. We will be going to the doctors and promoting the drug to them. This exercise will be done all over India. We are not going to advertise in the mass media as it’s a specialised domain.” He added that the account size is quite large in the healthcare segment, but refused to divulge any figures.
Other accounts being handled by Mudra Brand Therapist under the USV umbrella include Coromax, Fluxum, Glycomet GP and Lipicard AV, Glenmark’s Vivalol and Nebinex. The agency is also handling the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital account, a special project on the OC pill range from Wyeth, and Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust.
