Mudra bags Times Business Solutions account; business pegged at upwards of Rs 30 cr

Mudra bags Times Business Solutions account; business pegged at upwards of Rs 30 cr

Mudra Communications, Delhi has won theTimes Business Solutions account in a multi-agency pitch. The division constitutes four major brands – TimesJobs.com, TimesMatri.com, MagicBricks.com, and Ads2Book.com (formerly TimesClassifieds.com). Industry sources estimate the account size to be upwards of Rs 30 crore. The incumbent agency was Bates India.

The sound strategy based on consumer and category understanding, good creative work along with the long-term association of Times Business Solutions with Tribal DDB, the Interactive Media Division of Mudra, are what tipped the scales in Mudra’s favour.

Commenting on the new association with Mudra Communications, R Sundar, Director, Times Group, said, “We are very pleased to have Mudra Communications on board as our marketing communications agency. We have great expectations from them as all our portals are on the verge of becoming leaders in their categories. They have the potential of leveraging our innately strong brands and providing that final thrust to make us the No. 1.”

He further said, “We will do print ads, TVCs, outdoors and below the line activities for the division. The work will commence from next month.”

Ads2Book.com is the new enhanced version of TimesClassifieds.com and already has over two million registered users and over 50,000 ads active across 24 categories. Ads2Book.com not only allows users to place classified ads but also book display advertisements in The Times of India Group publications as well as other publications across the country and abroad.
