Motivator bags Monsanto India

There is some more good news for Motivator, with the agency winning the media duties of Monsanto India. The US-based company is in an aggressive growth mode this year and in the process, had invited agencies to pitch for the media side of its communication. Industry sources peg the business to be in the region of Rs 5 to 8 crore. The incumbent on the business was Situations. The other agency in the fray for the business was Starcom.

Rajneesh Chaturvedi, Business Director, Motivator, explained that the work on the business would commence in the next few days. He said, “The company’s products are genetically strong, so there are examples like the yield per hectare is very high for the seeds that it makes. In that sense, they already are market leaders and the idea is to consolidate this position further.”

Monsanto is a player in the seed industry. The company is committed to developing high-yield crop varieties and hybrid crops such as corn, sunflower and cotton.

Through its field operations, knowledge of agricultural production and search for new agricultural solutions and technologies, Monsanto seeks to develop, communicate and provide sustainable solutions to Indian farmers.
