Motivator bags media duties of Essilor

Essilor, an optical company, has awarded its media duties to Motivator. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Bangalore office.

The estimated account size of the business is Rs 15 crore plus.

The incumbent agency on the account is Starcom MediaVest, which has been handling the account for eight years now.

Commenting on the win, Rabe T Iyer, Managing Partner, Motivator India said, “Essilor is a prestigious win for Motivator, not only strengthening our growth story in the South but also giving us immense opportunity to demonstrate our outcome-based approach for its Indian mission. We are looking forward to contributing to enriching people's lives partnering with Essilor.”

There was no pitch that took place.

It may be recalled that exchange4media had reported that Motivator was awarded the media mandate for Himalaya Drug Company in the month of September http://www.exchange4media.com/52654_motivator-bags-media-mandate-for-himalaya-herbal-healthcare.html. It also won the media account for Kalyan Jewellers.

Essilor is a subsidiary of Essilor International. Essilor entered the Indian market through a joint venture with SRF Limited, New Delhi in the year 1998. The Indian subsidiary was incorporated as Essilor SRF Optics Private Limited.
