Usually associated with winter wear, Oswal Woolen Mills’ brand Monte Carlo is out to reinforce its summer collection with a new television campaign featuring models sporting the ‘Summerz-2008’ collection in exotic locales. JWT, under the leadership of its Creative Director Shantanu Mukherjee has conceptualised the TVC, which breaks in the first week of April 2008.
Oswal Woolen Mills is the flagship company of the Rs 2,200 crore Nahar Group with a diversified portfolio that includes spinning, knitting, fabric processing, hosiery garments, knitwear and infrastructure.
The brand positioning is aimed at the youth and working class who are carefree and like to lead a relaxed lifestyle. “Monte Carlo is a brand created for a generation of women and men who wear what they like and firmly believe in an individual look. Almost every piece designed and created for Summerz-08 collection depicts timeless creation blended with sophisticated simplistic detail,” said Anoop Dass, Senior Brand Manager, Monte Carlo.
He further said, “The creative brief given to the agency was to not just to highlight the product but to also demonstrate the vibrancy and beauty of the nature during summer. Reaching out to the world and being part of celebrations with the cool new summer collection of Monte Carlo.”
The new TVC breaks on all leading channels in the first week of April 2008. Other media selected to promote the Summerz-08 collection include TVC, print, outdoor and OOH.
