Mindshare Chennai & Hyderabad bag new biz worth Rs 50 cr

Mindshare’s Chennai and Hyderabad offices have had a busy time in the last two months. The agency’s two offices have bagged new accounts to the tune of Rs 50-plus crore. Sindhu Raghavan, Partner - Client Leadership, Mindshare, Chennai, confirmed the news to exchange4media and said that all wins were preceded by multi-agency pitches.

Mindshare Chennai has won the accounts of Bharathi Cement, Coromandel International, Xenos Technologies, Stallion Garments, and Fresh & Honest cafe, among others. The agency’s Hyderabad office has bee assigned the duties for T.I.M.E and Russell’s Spoken English businesses.

Both Bharathi Cement Corp and Coromandel International Ltd are based in Hyderabad. Bharathi Cement Corp, which is currently present only in South India, is a part of Hyderbad-based Sakshi Group controlled by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Coromandel International, part of the Rs 15,646-crore Murugappa Group, is a leading company manufacturing a wide range of fertilisers and plant protection products (technical and formulations).

Stallion Garments is a leading manufacturer and exporter of knit and woven garments. With over 15 years’ presence in the garment industry, Stallion Garments is a fully integrated manufacturing unit. Based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, Stallion Garments recently took over Levi’s innerwear business and undertakes the entire marketing for Levi’s innerwear. On the other hand, Xenos Technologies markets and services a range of high-end automotive accessories in the Indian market.

It may be noted that Mindshare Chennai already handles the entire SRM Group’s portfolio, including the recently launched Tamil magazine ‘Puthiya Thalaimurai’, besides several blue-chip clients such as Ashok Leyland, Ford, Sun Network, and GRT Group, among others. Mindshare has satellite offices in Hyderabad, Cochin and Coimbatore, which report to Mindshare Chennai Head Raghavan.
