Mindshare & Frederik Härén launch ‘One World. One Company’ @Cannes

Mindshare, the global media network, together with business author Fredrik Härén, launched a beta version of the book, ‘One World. One Company’ at Cannes during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on June 18, 2012. The book includes about 20 case studies of companies that are doing the right things globally.

Härén told exchange4media that the final version of the book is due in September 2012; it will include another 15 case studies.

Härén will take the Cannes stage on June 19 to explain the secrets of being a truly global company. In the seminar ‘The Global Divide’, Härén will explain the gap between the companies which are thriving in today’s changing world and the ones that are struggling.

While addressing a Mindshare gathering at Cannes that included members of the press, on June 18, 2012, Nick Emery, CEO, Mindshare Worldwide said, “We are happy to be able to launch the book, which is on global companies.”

The learnings for global business leaders include the advantage of not connecting a company to a nation (SKF), how to improve innovation by picking the world’s best brains (SAP), new competition from ‘global players’ (Facebook), how a brand becomes stronger when it is disconnected from a country (Mini) and how a great product can help create global success (Evernote).

Härén has travelled the world over the last six years trying to understand what defines the ‘thrivers’, interviewing hundreds of executives from global businesses to find out what they are doing right and wrong in their pursuit of success in an increasingly interconnected and smaller world. The beta version of ‘One World. One Company’ includes interviews with executives from Google, Maersk, Mindshare, Mini, The Economist, SAP, Singtel and other leading brands.

Fredrik Härén is an author and speaker on creativity and business. Over the last 10 years he has delivered over 1500 speeches at companies and organisations in virtually every industry; from nuclear power plants in Sweden, the Air Force in Sri Lanka, advertising executives in India, bankers in the USA, telecom managers in China and many, many more.

He was awarded ‘Speaker of The Year’ in Sweden in 2007. His books have been translated into 15 languages and ‘The Idea Book’ was included in ‘The 100 Best Business Books of All Time’. ‘One World. One Company’ is his ninth book. Härén is a true citizen of the world who has been invited to speak in over 45 countries on five continents. He is based in Singapore.
