Mindset Advertising EYW, Hyderabad has won the advertising account of International Convention Centre, Hyderabad, which is slated to be the first world class convention centre in South Asia with a capacity to accommodate 6,000 delegates.
“I am absolutely thrilled by the fact that multinational clients like Emaar and Accor have acknowledged our capabilities and have entrusted the communication work for South Asia’s first world class convention centre to us,” said Santha John, Managing Director, Mindset Advertising.
“We will be communicating the fantastic infrastructure and tremendous opportunities of the centre through press, outdoor, direct marketing and other media,” she added.
The two agencies involved in the pitch were Minset Advertising EYW and O&M.
While refusing to divulge the exact account size, Philip Logan, General Manager, Hyderabad International Convention Center, said, “The account size is significant in terms of Indian currency.”
“My key reason to appoint Mindset was due to its creativeness, and we are looking for a long-term relationship with them. To have an agency present in Hyderabad was more feasible. Hyderabad is the next big thing in India,” added Logan.
The Emaar Group, Dubai and the Accor Group are promoting the convention centre along with the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
Some of the clients that Mindset is currently handling include HSBC and SQL Star International among others. Recently, Mindset Advertising had won 11 Gold Awards for excellence in advertising at the Adex Awards.
