Mike Wilson will be the speaker addressing the Bombay Ad Club’s audience on June 20, which also happens to be the second day of the judging for the EMVIES 2007.
The EMVIES 2007, which is the media awards event organised by the Ad Club every year, will have its final award ceremony on June 29 this year.
Wilson is the Managing Partner of Naked Communications in Australia and has also worked as General Manager for mediaedge:cia, as well as a marketer with Warner Music to promote artistes like Madonna, REM, Green Day and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, among others.
Wilson will address the post-lunch session on June 20. The entry on both the judging days, June 19 and 20, is free for all.
“On June 20, besides the regular judging of the entries and case studies presentation, we have an added attraction. Keeping in tradition with our reputation to do things differently, we have decided to fly in Mike Wilson this year. It will add a completely different and new perspective to the entire event,” said Apurva Purohit, Chairperson, EMVIES Committee.
