Mediaedge:cia Chennai wins three new businesses worth Rs 18 cr

Mediaedge:cia Chennai has recently added three new businesses to its kitty – Zee Tamil launch brief, Nalli Silks and CRI Pumps. The total business of the three accounts together is pegged at Rs 18 crore in annualised billing.

Commenting on the wins, VR Padmanabhan, Senior Management, MEC-Chennai, said, “The client-mix is a heady one, from media to retail to B2B, all of which might seem to be heading into strong head-winds.”

He further said, “The work for all three clients had started breaking in media and after being shortlisted in three other pitches, MEC-Chennai seems to be converting those head-winds into strong tail-winds.”

MEC-Chennai has got a staff strength of under 20, and currently handles clients like CavinKare, Henkel, Maa Foods, McMillan, Nippon Paint, and Trends In Vogue, among others.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
