Close on the heels of appointing its creative partner, Cox & Kings has appointed Mediaedge:cia (MEC) as its media agency with effect from January 15, 2006. As was reported by exchange4media on Thursday, the new creative agency is Law & Kenneth. The total account size, including the new initiatives that the organisation is getting into, is pegged at Rs 12 crore.
Confirming the appointment, Peter Kerkar, Group CEO, Cox & Kings, said, “We are happy with the manner in which Mediaedge:cia approached our business and suggested media and non-mass media solutions. We look forward to their partnership in making a differentiated brand offering in the market place.”

The year 2005 saw MEC on a winning spree, with new business wins like HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Sony Ericsson, Bharat Petroleum, Henkel, Accenture, Honda Motors and Scooters India Ltd, and Xerox.
