Mediacom wins media duties of SABMiller

Mediacom has bagged the media mandate for SABMiller India , which is the Indian arm of SABMiller plc. The agency is handling all the traditional media duties for the brand, confirm industry sources.

The agency is said to have already started work on the brand as well. The account was won on the back of a multi-agency pitch.

SABMiller India serves the market with ten breweries across various states with popular brands such as Haywards 5000, Knock Out, Royal Challenge, Foster`s, Indus Pride, Miller High Life and its premium international brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

Sources also indicate that the agency is slated to start working on digital duties for the brand in a few months.

The company aims to be amongst the three most admired beverage companies in India and believes that sustainable development is core to business.
