Media Direction wins business worth Rs 100 cr in 3 months

Media Direction, the specialist media services wing of RK Swamy Media Group, has won business worth Rs 100 crore in the last three months.

Commenting on the wins, Les Margulis, President, RK Swamy Media Group/ Media Direction, said, “We are really happy to have won Adarsh Developers, Allahabad Bank, Asian Motor Works, Basecamp, Bayer Pharma, Central Bank, Calcom Cement, Chaitanya Developers, Gemini Oil, Makro Technologies, Noel Pharma, Rasa, SBI, UCO Bank, United Stock Exchange, Victorinox, West Bengal Tourism and Zuari Industries. The media accounts are worth Rs 100 crore. Mostly, these accounts were won after multi-agency pitches. RK Swamy BBDO is handling the creative business of Asian Motor Works, Gemini Oil, SBI, UCO Bank, West Bengal Tourism and Zuari.”

Margulis further said, “We are focussing on 20 per cent growth in 2010. We are targeting mid-sized clients with media budgets ranging from Rs 5 crore to Rs 50 crore. We are working closely with the RK Swamy BBDO and Digital Direction. This is a distinct advantage that we are able to meet all clients’ requirements under one roof.”

Bangalore-based Adarsh Developers have been in the real estate business for the past 21 years and have expertise in residential, commercial, and hospitality and SEZ developments. Asian Motor Works are the makers of heavy commercial vehicles. Basecamp is a web-based project management and collaboration tool. Bayer Pharma Group is involved in three major areas of healthcare – prescription medications, biological products and biotechnology. Noel Pharma is a well-established and one of the fastest growing pharma companies with the strong presence in major states of India. Victorinox is a traditional Swiss company that has been in existence for over 100 years, while Zuari Industries is a manufacturer of complex fertilisers and agricultural inputs in India. Makro Technologies is a software firm.
