Media 360 Summit comes to Asia; Sam Balsara, Rajneesh Chaturvedi to represent India

Heralded as the ‘Davos’ of the media world (that’s what the official website claims), the Media 360 Summit is being launched in Asia for the first time this year. The event will be held in Macau from September 16-18, 2008. Among the distinguished list of speakers are two familiar names – Sam Balsara and MEC Access India’s Rajneesh Chaturvedi.

The first ever Media 360 Asia Summit has lined up an impressive list of speakers and attendees, including Jonathan Mildenhall, Vice President - Global Advertising and Creative Excellence, Coca-Cola; Christophe Bezu, CEO, Asia Pacific Region, adidas; Joy Lee, Head of Marketing, DHL; Christoph Peter-Isenbuerger, Head of Marketing Asia Pacific, PUMA; and Kevin Clayton, Vice President-Marketing, Galaxy Entertainment, among many others.

Two names that will interest India are Sam Balsara, Chairman and Mnaging Director, Madison World, and Rajneesh Chaturvedi, National Director, MEC Access India.

Balsara will address the session on ‘Assess the Opportunities and Challenges in Emerging Markets: India, Appealing to the Mass Market’.

Chaturvedi will be part of the GroupM Agency Media Channel Breakout sessions. He will on ‘Branded Content in a Digitising World’.

Some of the key topics to be explored at the Summit include discovering how to capitalise on changing media platforms and respond to the increasing influence of digital in order to stay ahead of the crowd and ride future trends, understanding audiences and consumption patterns in order to design targeted campaigns that achieve the greatest cut-through, integrating channels for a powerful integrated campaign to optimise one’s message, and successfully measuring the impact of campaigns and ensure one makes the right decisions in the right platform choices for the highest level of accountability and Return on Investment (ROI).
