The winners of Festival of Media Global Awards 2012 were announced at a grand awards ceremony in Montreux, Switzerland on April 17, 2012. Three Indian entries won prestigious awards.
Maxus Bangalore won in the ‘Best use of emerging technology’ category for work titled, Light powered media for light powered watch, done for Titan HTSE.
Gemini TV’s work titled, Making of a Superstar, done for Lux won the ‘Best contribution to a campaign by a media owner’ award.
MEC India bagged the ‘Creative use of media’ award for work titled, Night Hammer done for Colgate.
The Festival of Media Awards reward creativity and innovation that is at the heart of effective media communications. The theme for this year's festival was 'When data becomes insight: the beauty in numbers and the science of storytelling'.
