Masterfile, a global visual content licensor, has partnered with media company Conceptual Media Solutions (CMS) to launch Masterfile India for clients in India. Through this partnership, Masterfile aims to expand its operations in the South Asian region. Masterfile India will offer local service and pricing, providing clients with direct contact in India.
CMS will also be launching its new Indian website, which will provide customers with a new local image and local pricing. It also plans to put in place a sales team across India with sales agents in Pakistan, Dhaka and Sri Lanka. The backend office will function from Hyderabad.

In conversation with exchange4media, Ramji Ravindran, Founder, CMS, said, “The images in Masterfile are highly creative and will provide better layouts for creative agencies. With this tie-up, all the creative people will be able to use these images, and with the conceptual pictures, the clients will be able to get the service even faster. The creative agencies will benefit from this because of the kind of images and the service provided by Masterfile through their websites.”
He further said, “We will definitely look at the right kind of partners, where they can provide the best of image and service. With Masterfile, we can expect more images, especially more Indian images, more editorial images. We are looking at major partners for editorial images and footages.”
Masterfile India will be based in Hyderabad and be the exclusive distributor of the Masterfile Collection in South Asia through serving clients in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
