After a multi-agency pitch, leading travel portal MakeMyTrip.com has appointed EuroRSCG as its creative agency. The size of the business is Rs 20 crore. The incumbent agency was Leo Burnett, which had bagged the account in 2005. Starcom handles the media duties.
FCB-Ulka, EuroRSCG and Rediffusion DYR were in the final race for the business. There were eight agencies in the fray, out of which these three were shortlisted.
Sachin Bhatia, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, MakeMyTrip.com, said, “We are really happy to appoint EuroRSCG as our creative agency. The agency will be handling below the line and above the line business for MakeMyTrip.com They will be doing campaigns in print, TVC, outdoor and Internet.”
