LMG Delhi bags Rs 25-cr media duties of Jindal Stainless Group

Lintas Media Group (LMG) Delhi has been awarded media mandate for Jindal Stainless Group, the flagship company of the $10 billion multi-product, multi-location OP Jindal Steel conglomerate. The account size is pegged at Rs 25 crore. This is the first time that Jindal Stainless has hired a media agency.

The creative account is being handled by Bates David Enterprise. Noshe Oceanic was the incumbent creative agency.

The Jindal Stainless assignment would include media business for the brands of the Group and its subsidiaries – Arc, which is into modular kitchens and steel furniture, and Artd’inox, a premium lifestyle brand, besides other group brands.

Giving the reason for choosing LMG, NC Mathur, Director-Corporate Affairs, Jindal Stainless, said, “Lintas Media Group best understood our business and needs.”

Commenting on the win, VS Mani, Senior VP & GM, LMG, said, “It is always nice when clients repose their faith in you. The team is looking forward to a lot of good and challenging work.”

Senior sources close to the development said that the agency would be handling all ATL and BTL activities for the Group, besides media buying and planning.

The Jindal Stainless win follows the recent moving back of the Luxor account to the LMG fold, which had shifted to Dentsu earlier. Lintas Media Group’s current roster of clients includes Maruti Udyog, Bharat Petroleum, Bajaj Auto, ITC, UTI, MRF, Saint Gobain, Enamor, Revlon, and Idea Cellular, among others.
