Lensman Atul Kasbekar launches ‘Corporate Image’

Photographer Atul Kasbekar on Thursday launched a new company, ‘Corporate Image’, which will focus on managing the identity of the top management of the country’s biggest corporate organisations.

After clicking numerous renowned faces from the film and fashion fraternity, he now aims to doing the same for India’s corporate world.

Speaking at the launch function, chief guest Amitabh Bachchan said, “People perceive the companies through their heads, therefore, it is important to present these people beautifully to the public.” Citing the example of UB Group head Vijay Mallya, he said, “Corporate heads are as glamorous as any film star.”

Corporate Image claims to be a specialist imaging service that will cater to the top management of different corporations of the company. Said Kasbekar, “These corporate heads will be photographed after extensive research about the company’s values, the individual’s personal beliefs, tastes and sense of style.”

Kasbekar further said, “We will have the best advertising talents, the best make-up artists and designers and state-of-the-art technology working for us.” He felt that since the launch had received a good response from the media, word-of-mouth would be one of the most important tools to market the service.

On being asked about his clients Kasbekar, without giving away much said, “We have six different people on board, but we want to maintain discretion since they may not want us to reveal any thing so soon.”

The images that will be captured can then be found in corporate literature such as brochures and annual reports as well as the media.
