Leadership reshuffle at McCann Erickson

Changes have taken place at two leading offices of McCann Erickson. Vijay Jacob Parakkal is taking over the reigns of McCann Bangalore as the General Manager.
Namrata Nandan, after a successful stint of almost three years of running the McCann Bangalore office which has key businesses such as Britannia, ITC, TVS Motors, etc. due to personal reasons has re-located to Mumbai and will now oversee the McCann Mumbai branch.

Commenting on the reshuffle, Prasoon Joshi, Executive Chairman and CEO McCann Worldgroup India and President – South Asia said, “I am genuinely pleased with this development. McCann has always embraced change and have welcomed new blood in the system. At the same time we take pride in providing exposure and opportunities for growth to our long time colleagues. Vijay and Namrata’s new roles bear testimony to this philosophy and practice. I am positive that both our offices will further shine bright.”

Parakkal comes with vast experience of close to two decades across India and Srilanka. He has worked with companies such as Eveready, Bazee and Grey on brands such as ITC, Bharti AXA, Sify, Ashok Leyland and UB Group.

Anil Thomas continues to be the Creative Chief for McCann’s entire South operations.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
