Law & Kenneth has won the creative duties for the Kitply business following a multi-agency pitch. The account will be jointly serviced by the Kolkata and Mumbai offices of agency. The account size is upwards Rs 10 crore.
The media duties are being handled in-house by the company. There was no incumbent creative agency as for a long time Kitply wasn’t doing any advertising.
Kolkata headquartered Kitply is a manufacturer of plywood, block boards, flush doors, particle boards and decorative laminates.
Anil Nair, President, Law & Kenneth, said, “We are delighted to win this business. Kitply is undergoing a major makeover. The company has changed its logo. Our objective is to relaunch the brand. The company has sponsored the Tri-nation Kitply Cup currently being played in Bangladesh between India-Pakistan-Bangladesh. We are also looking at associating with movies in a big way.”
“The reason we got this business is because Law & Kenneth is an agency that specializes in launching brands from scratch. The client was impressed by the brand-building work that we showed them in our presentation,” explained Nair.
Nair informed that the agency is planning to work on a 360-degree national multimedia campaign that would include print, TVC, outdoor hoardings, Internet and BTL activities like banners, mailers, etc., which is scheduled to break next week.
