Kunal Lalani elected as Delhi Advertising Club President

Kunal Lalani, a veteran advertising professional and head of Crayons Advertising, has been elected as the Delhi Advertising Club (DAC) President for 2015-16. He has replaced Naresh Khetrapal for the tenure.

The other notable members who were elected as Members of the Executive Committee of the club are Deepak Hiramath of Vermilion Advertising, T Sriram Gopal of Alaknanda advertising, Vivek Srivastava of Innocean Advertising  and Ranjan Khanna of Chiranjan Advertising. 

Expressing his happiness on being voted as the President of DAC, Lalani said, “I am pleased and happy to lead Delhi Advertising Club, one of the prominent advertising clubs of the country. Being selected as the president, I will take the necessary steps to safeguard the interests of our community members and will devise ways to nurture and retain talent in our industry.”

At the age of 26, Lalani started his journey in the ad world with his own venture Crayon Advertising in 1986, one of the largest independent advertising agencies in India today. That was only the beginning. Kunal’s vision and love for experimenting with novel ideas led him to diversify into a variety of different businesses including hospitality, aviation, banking, auto and marine components, PVC and luxury automobiles.
