JWT enters Hyderabad in partnership with Mindset

JWT has entered Hyderabad in affiliation with Mindset: e.y.w. Advertising Pvt Ltd. JWT already serves major Hyderabad-based clients such as Microsoft through its specialist direct response company RMG Connect.

Announcing the decision, Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT, said, “Hyderabad is important from an Indian market perspective. We were planning to set up a new office to add to our network, but then we met Mindset and were very impressed by the team, their professional capabilities and their work culture. They already have a full-fledged set-up here and we felt that by teaming up with them we could get a great deal of initial momentum. We are very excited indeed about our prospects in Hyderabad. What decided our partnership was the quality of the team who are quite experienced, with international exposure, and all based in Hyderabad.”

JWT has 315 offices worldwide, and is a member of the WPP Group of companies. JWT’s clients in India include Hindustan Unilever, ITC Limited, Godrej, DTC, UNICEF, Tata Steel, Levis, Pepsico, United Breweries, Hero Honda, Nike, Ford, Reliance Capital, i-flex Solutions, Unitech, Monster.com, and Coromandel Fertilisers. JWT also recently won the Bharti Wal-Mart, Airtel DTH, Sony Viao, Sony Bravia and Nokia businesses.

JWT has been studying the Hyderabad market for some time. Anita Gupta, Senior Vice President and Managing Partner, JWT, said, “Hyderabad has shown amazing growth with some excellent businesses setting up base in the city. At JWT, we believe we can help take them forward, bringing a new level of capabilities and resources to contribute significantly to the building of their brands, whether in the Indian market or globally.”

Mindset: e.y.w.
