JWT Delhi wins back creative duties of Iodex

JWT Delhi has bagged the creative duties of Glaxo Smith Kline brand Iodex. Sources peg the account size at between Rs 5-8 crore. The incumbent agency was Bates Enterprise, Delhi.

Rohit Ohri, Senior Vice-president, JWT Delhi, said, “We are really happy to win the creative duties of the Iodex brand. We will be doing brand extension for Iodex, and we will be working on aggressive plans for re-launch of the brand.”

He added that there was no pitch involved in winning back the creative duties. JWT has had a relationship with Iodex for 75 years; one of the longest client-agency relationships. “They liked our strategic presentation, and the work that we did for them,” added Ohri.

Ohri further explained that the work would involve a 360-degree approach, engaging audiences through multiple media including print, television, outdoors and the Internet.

Iodex is a trusted brand in India since 1919. It competes in the topical balms segment, and the promise is quick relief for backaches.
