JWT Delhi and Crayons Delhi have won the advertising mandate for the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC). Official sources close to the development have confirmed the news. The account size has been pegged at Rs 20 crore. This campaign will be for the Delhi Assembly elections that begin tomorrow in the National Capital.
JWT and Crayons were shortlisted following a tender floated three months ago, but then it was decided to award the account to both the agencies. Both Crayons and JWT have already begun work on the Delhi Congress campaign.
The agencies will work on a 360-degree multimedia campaign comprising print, radio, TV, OOH, etc. as well as below the line activities like mailers.
It may be recalled that earlier in October 2008, Crayons was assigned the entire Congress party account for the Lok Sabha elections next year. That account is worth Rs 150 crore.
