JWT has been assigned the creative duties of Sony’s brands – Vaio, Bravia, Handycam and Cybershot. Senior sources close to the development have confirmed the news and pegged the account size at Rs 60 crore.
exchange4media had reported on March 3, 2009 that Sony was reviewing the creative duties of these four brands and the agencies in the fray for the Bravia brand were O&M, JWT and Percept Hakuhodo. JWT and Percept Hakuhodo had also pitched for the Vaio, Handycam and Cybershot brands.
JWT had been handling the Sony Vaio and Sony Bravia accounts, while Percept Hakuhodo was handling the Handycam and Cybershot brands.
