It is proving to be a good year for JWT India. In addition to its wins at global creative festivals, JWT has also bagged the global creative duties for Kingfisher Airlines. The win comes in the wake of a multi-agency pitch. The size of the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 80 crore to Rs 100 crore. Equus Red Cell is the incumbent agency. As is known, Kingfisher was on the lookout for a creative partner to strengthen its global operations.
Despite repeated attempts, JWT India officials didn’t offer any comments on the development. Vikram Malhotra, General Manager-Marketing, Kingfisher Airlines, too, didn’t respond to the queries sent by exchange4media till the time of filing this report. However, sources familiar with the situation informed that the JWT India team had already commenced work on the account and a round of meetings with Vijay Mallya, Chairman, UB Group, had also been conducted.
