JWT bags creative duties of Star One, Star Movies & Star World

Following a multi-agency pitch, JWT India has bagged the creative duties of three STAR India channels – Star One, Star Movies and Star World. Other agencies in the fray were Publicis Ambience, Euro RSCG and Dentsu Communications. The business is pegged at Rs 20 crore. The media agency continues to be Mindshare.

The incumbent agency for Star one is O&M which handled the channel for six months on project basis.

Confirming the development, Prem Kamath, Vice-President, Marketing, Star India Pvt. Ltd, said, “We are happy to have JWT as our creative agency. The agency presented a great package which made the selection decision easier. The vision of STAR and JWT matched well and I guess that makes us more confident about good work from the agency.”
