Font Size   16 opens branches in Ahmedabad, Kolkata chief operating officer Alok Mittal said, building sales and servicing infrastructure in Ahmedabad and Kolkata would help his company to offer more local job opportunities to jobseekers in these cities.

The company has more than eight lakh registered jobseekers out of which 51,000 are from Ahmedabad and Kolkata. From its Ahmedabad and Delhi offices the company plans to reach out to industrial belts of Surat and Chandigarh respectively.

The announcement comes on the heels of the closure of the company’s third round funding of Rs 11 crores from Chrysalis Capital & Angel investors, of which a portion of funds is being used for building the infrastructure in new cities.

JobsAhead currently holds the top position in the e-recruitment market in India with 55 per cent market share. The company services 3,100 clients across IT and non-IT segments through 52 account managers spread across eight cities.

Some of its clients include Microsoft, Hughes Software, Colgate Palmolive, Max New York Life, Levis, GE Capital Services, Standard Chartered Bank, Nokia, Pizza Hut, Wipro, Polaris Software, UB Group, Ranbaxy and Titan.
