Jasmin Sohrabji and Ogilvy India win at Media Agency of the Year Awards 2009

OMD India may just be over two years, but Jasmin Sohrabji, Managing Director, OMD India, is already making her mark. Sohrabji has won the Agency Head of the Year – National Category at the 2009 Media Agency of the Year Awards. The Awards ceremony was held at The Regis, Singapore, on December 9, 2009.

Ogilvy Mumbai has won the award for Office of the Year – India & the Sub-continent at the Awards. Kapil Arora, Vice President, Ogilvy Mumbai Advertising, was adjudged Runners Up for Account/Business Development Person of the Year.

Piyush Pandey (Executive Chairman, Ogilvy South Asia, & National Creative Director) was a finalist in the Agency Head of the Year category. Two more finalists emerged from the Ogilvy Mumbai office – Navin Talreja and Deepika Tiwari (Senior Vice Presidents, Ogilvy Advertising, Mumbai) – in the Account/Business Development category.

In the category Creative Agency of the Year, the winner was BBH, China, Singapore and India.
