Jagran Chief Editor Narendra Mohan passed away

Chief Editor of Dainik Jagran and BJP MP (Rajya Sabha), Narendra Mohan passed away at 11:45 AM today. He was 68. Mohan was under treatment at Apollo Hospital, Delhi for more than a month. Earlier he was admitted in AIIMS and later got shifted to the Apollo hospital.

Mohan took the charge of Jagran Group in 1987 as the Chairman and Chief editor after the death of his father, Purna Chandra Gupta. Purna Chandra Gupta was the founder of Jagran Group.

Mohan is known for his significant contribution to the media industry. He was one of the most vocal voices that persuaded the government to allow FDI in print media, this year.

The cremation will take place tomorrow at 9:00 AM in Kanpur.
