E-commerce site Jabong has initiated a pitch for a new creative agency. The multi-agency pitch will happen in Delhi. However, the size of the account could not be ascertained at the time of filing the report.
The brand awarded the creative duties to Draftfcb Ulka last year, following a multi-agency pitch that saw participation from about five-six agencies. The e-commerce site also awarded its media mandate to ZenithOptimedia.
Confirming the development to exchange4media, Manu Kumar Jain, Co-Founder, Jabong said, “We’ve had a great time working with Draftfcb Ulka and our association with them has been truly fruitful. The campaigns designed by them have fetched us satisfactory results. However, post drawing upon a mutual consensus, we are now inviting a multi-agency pitch and are looking forward to work with an agency that has expertise in fashion and lifestyle domain. We are keen on churning out new and exciting ideas that are fresh and resonate well with our customers.”
Draftfcb Ulka team handled the overall creative services for Jabong, which included everything from brand planning to creative developments. Recently, the fashion shopping portal released a new TV campaign on the theme of ‘Fashion Nikla Mann Fisla’ created by Draftfcb Ulka. The campaign combined the enthusiasm for shopaholism and general human behaviour of a little greed when it comes to fashion and Jabong.
Jabong is also the exclusive online shopping partner of the movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. With the association, Jabong unveiled a collection with funky, quirky and sporty styles of the season. Apart from the collection, Jabong had run contests on digital platform, which entitled the participants a chance to meet Deepika Padukone.
For the record, Jabong caters to the fashion needs of men, women and kids across footwear, apparel, jewellery and accessories.
