Infectious launches full-service design arm, Khalid Khatri to lead

Soon after announcing the launch of Firki Productions, Ramanuj Shastry and Nisha Singhania have launched Infectious Design. The full-service design house will be a sister company of Infectious and will be headed by Khalid Khatri.

With over a dozen years experience in advertising, which he spent in some of the leading agencies in India and London, Khatri believes that design is not just the way something looks, but the way it works.

Infectious Design has already done several identity projects, including the identity of Aegon Life (when it changed from AegonReligare), Happ Post (an app which has a positive take on news) and the recently launched DNA. For DNA, Infectious Design was responsible for creating their new identity and masthead.

Shreyasi Goenka, Content Advisor - DNA, said, “We wanted a modern masthead that communicated the disruptive content philosophy of DNA and reflected a high degree of brand congruence with WION, the English news channel from our television network. The new masthead has been highly appreciated by all.”

On the launch of Infectious Design, Shastry, Founder & Partner - Infectious and Firki Productions, said, “While Infectious will help brands find a defining voice and an engaging personality, Infectious Design will help brands find a unique look and identity. Khalid is a brilliant designer and I am sure he will lead Infectious Design to new heights.”

Singhania, – Founder & Partner - Infectious and Firki Productions, said, “Identity is a critical part of brand creation and communication. It was a natural extension for Infectious. With Khalid at the helm, we are sure of having some spectacular work in our folio.”
