Indya.com-STAR deal runs into trouble

Indya.com deal with STAR has run into rough weather, with a group of minority shareholders planning to go to court seeking to annul the deal. These shareholders are claiming that the management of Indya.com has committed a “breach of trust and oppression of minority shareholders rights” by unilaterally reaching a sell-off deal with STAR.

These shareholders came to acquire 0.6 of Indya.com when another Internet site, Net2travel.com was merged with Indya.com last year.
