Indian Premier League's 'Official Partnership' status up for grabs

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited bids from companies to offer ‘Official Partnership’ status for the two remaining slots of the Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons of 2011 and 2012, according to reliable sources.

It is an opportunity for the companies to get the maximum eyeballs and other marketing benefits at every IPL match during the seasons. Sources have also informed that both Indian and international corporate entities can participate in the bid.

Currently, four out of six available slots for partnership have already been grabbed by Hero Honda, Citi, Karbon Mobiles and Vodafone.

The invitation to the tender can be acquired from the IPL office, Cricket Centre, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
